David Copperfield
by Charles Dickens

When David’s mother marries the malevolent Mr Murdstone , David’s childhood happiness is destroyed forever.

Can one lonely little boy show the strength and determination to survive the dangers that lie ahead? Travelling along the rocky road from boyhood to manhood, how can David learn who to trust and who to love? Will David’s friends bring him happiness or heartache?

It is a very touching story with the inspiration tale of trust, betrayal, courage and love.

James and the Giant Peach
by Roald Dahl

When James’s parents were eaten up by a hungry rhinoceros, life was never easy for little James when he was sent to his aunts’ house at the top of the hill. After chopping wood for a day, James ran to bushes and cried. Luckily a strange man gave him the bag of crystals to change his miserable life. Suddenly, the bag of magic crystals slipped from his hands and dropped next the peach tree and strange things starts happening. The peach at the top of the old peach tree starts growing and growing….till it was as big as house! James found new oversized friends such as a silkworm, a spider, an earthworm ….and much more. One snip on the branch and the peach rolls to the world of adventure!
